1. What kinds of products do you make?

Chu Homemade Blessings offers a variety of natural skincare and self-care items, including handmade soaps, body butters & creams, body & bath oils, hair & scalp oils, lip balms, scrubs, and aromatherapy shower steamers. All products are formulated with plant-based oils, butters, herbs, and essential oils, and are handmade in small batches to ensure quality and freshness. 

2. Are your products free from synthetic or harmful ingredients?

Yes. We do not use synthetic fragrances, artificial dyes, or harmful preservatives. Our goal is clean, intentional formulations that support skin health and avoid unnecessary irritants. 

3. Are your products tested on animals?

No — we do not test on animals. Each formulation is first tested by us (the founder/team) on our own skin before being offered for sale. 

4. How are your products packaged and shipped?

We package products thoughtfully, using recyclable or eco-friendly materials whenever possible. Orders ship from Philadelphia, PA. 

Our standard shipping cost is $5.50. We also offer free U.S. shipping on orders of $35 or more. 

5. How long does order processing and delivery take?

We aim to process orders promptly (within a few business days). Your estimated delivery window is shown at checkout based on the carrier transit times and processing time for your location.

6. What is your returns / exchanges policy?

Because all products are handmade and made to order, we generally do not accept returns or exchanges. However, we understand that issues may arise — if there is a problem with your order, please contact us and we will work with you to find a resolution. 

7. Can I get help choosing the right product or scent?

Absolutely! We love helping customers. If you’re unsure which soap, body butter, or oil will work best for your skin type, or if you’re unsure about a scent, feel free to message us for personalized recommendations.

8. Do your products suit sensitive skin?

Many of our products are formulated with gentle, skin-soothing ingredients (such as oatmeal, calendula, aloe, goat milk, etc.). However, everyone’s skin is different, and we encourage you to review the full ingredient list before purchase and patch test when possible.

9. Are your products eligible for wholesale or bulk orders?

Yes — we are open to bulk or wholesale orders! If you’re a boutique, church group, spa, or retailer interested in carrying our products, please contact us directly and we’ll discuss pricing, minimums, and options.

10. How do I care for bar soaps or body butters to make them last longer?

• Keep soap bars dry between uses (use a well-draining soap dish)

• Store body butter or creams with lids closed and in a cool place

• Use clean, dry hands or a spatula to scoop product to avoid contamination

11. Who is behind Chu Homemade Blessings?

While the brand is built on a community and mission, Charmaine Yorkman is the founder and lead formulator. She oversees ingredient sourcing, formulation, packaging, and customer care — all with a heart for healing, faith, and restoration.
